Volunteers are needed to work on the new lake being excavated at Alderson when completed. Work will include planting trees, building swims and planting water plants, dates to be finalised so watch this space. Please contact the secretary for more details
2009 Season Work parties will be taking place to ensure that essential maintenance is carried out at all our fisheries before the start of the season. Your assistance on these would be very welcome and anybody who can spare a few hours please let us know. Without these being carried out “in house” by the members we may have to employ outside contractors. Obviously to do this costs important revenue to the society which could be used in other area’s such as fish stocks. It is not all manual labour, and people of every ability can help so please get involved. For new members this is also a good way of meeting others and at the same time getting information on our waters from more experienced members.
