Perch Pit

PERCH PIT is a deep pool behind the main lake and is currently being redeveloped and has Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd and Perch, the pike are currently being removed to allow for the stocking of Crucian Carp.

Situated in a quiet wooded corner adjacent to Causeway Lake this is a very quiet and intimate venue with the feeder stream that flows into Causeway Lake behind it. The depths vary from shallow at the bank next to Causeway Lake, to very deep at the feeder stream end.

Originally the lake was renowned for its Perch, however in recent years it has fished well for Tench and bags of silver fish.
