Perch Pit
PERCH PIT is a deep pool behind the main lake at Causeway venue and has recently been redeveloped and has carp, eels, tench, bream, roach, rudd and perch, there are also a few pike present which we are trying to remove.
Situated in a quiet wooded corner adjacent to Causeway Lake this is a very quiet and intimate venue with the feeder stream that flows into Causeway Lake running behind it. The depths vary from shallow at the bank next to Causeway Lake, to very deep at the feeder stream end.
Originally the lake was renowned for its perch, however in recent years it has fished well for tench and bags of silver fish.
